Volksempfänger VE301W Radio

Flag_of_the_NSDAP_(1920–1945).svgThis is a Volksempfänger 301W Model radio. These were produced in large numbers and subsidised heavily before being sold onto the German public. These radios lacked shortwave bands which prevented them from being used to listen to foreign radio stations like the BBC. I have the other VE301 model on this site as well. The cabinet design was produced by noted industrial designer Walter Kersting.
