These particular ones were made in 1944 and were taken into use by the East German Army as evidenced by the label dating from 1961. The DDR Army ceased using the MP44 in 1962.

It’s stamped 6565/G and SWJ45 with a waffenamt WaA623. Obviously it’s been demilled otherwise I certainly couldn’t have it out on display.
