This is a Pilot’s Watch from World War 1 manufactured by Etienne & Co. It is marked with the War Department arrow on the rear of the case. This is a RFC watch dating to about 1915 or 1916. These watches were intended to be mounted in the dash of the aircraft and removed by the pilot when he returned from flight.
